We are currently recruiting a 18th Edition Qualified Electrician to join our team! Responsible for installation, servicing and maintenance across our customers' homes.

Duties include:
- Install, service and maintain electrical installations in accordance with current edition of Wiring Regulations and IET.
- Assessment, tracing, diagnostics and rectification of faults using relevant testing and measuring equipment.
- Routine safety checks and reporting of faulty installations that do not comply with safety within the regulations.
- Assess work required and make recommendations on action to be taken, ensuring this is reported back to the Repairs Service Centre if it is outside of your core trade in order for them to arrange another team to attend.
- Communicate the work undertaken with the customer, using empathy and patience to ensure they are satisfied and understand the process that needs to be taken.
- Abide by the requirements of HASAWA and all other related safety regulations.
- Update system information using Dynamic Repairs Scheduler.
- Originate, maintain and provide updated work documentation as required.
- Driving to and from properties around the Bradford district (work van provided for work travel only).
Requirements
- Substantial and up to date knowledge and practical experience of electrical systems, including design, installation, maintenance and repair. Being apprentice trained would be advantageous.
- A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical, C&G 2391 Inspection and testing and Level 3 award in 18th Edition wiring regulation BS7671 2018.
- Experience in E.V Charging, PV, FA systems, emergency lighting, CCTV, intercoms/door entry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills including being able to listen to customer problems, empathise and explain clearly what work will be undertaken to fix the problem.
- Confidence and the ability to work at height, in confined spaces as well as be able to carry and move equipment.
- A full current UK driving license and the ability to drive across the region to deliver services at different locations as required.
- Awareness of Health and Safety systems such as COSHH and HASAWA.
- A full set of your own hand tools.
- Knowledge of electrical services within a housing association and/or experience of E.V. Charging, PV would help but is not essential.
- Right to work in the UK, visa sponsorship is not available.
- A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks.
