A leading restaurant business is looking to hire an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its group finance team. Managing 2 direct reports, you will manage the Group’s internal and external financial reporting. The role will also provide support to Group business units, in terms of Group processes and technical areas of accounting.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely submission of each business unit’s periodic financial information into the Group consolidation system.
- A key role in the year end statutory audit and any other audits that occur during the financial year, including liaising with the Group auditors.
- Responsibility for the production of the UK entity statutory accounts, including the consolidated Group accounts and Annual Report.
- Reviewing the results of the statutory audits of each business unit.
- Responsibility for the periodic and ad hoc commentary around Group performance for senior stakeholders.
- Any ad-hoc analysis as required by the Group CFO and CEO.
- Leading role in the production and implementation of technical Group accounting policies.
- Impact analysis for any new accounting standards.
- Responsibility for Group Manual of Accounting.
