Senior Finance Business Partner - £75,000-£80,000 - West London
I'm recruiting on behalf of a global logistics business based near Hounslow, for a Senior Finance Business Partner to support its Operations function,
This is a high-profile role sitting at the centre of a complex, fast-moving operation. You will act as the lead finance partner to senior operational leaders across the major hubs, turning operational activity, productivity and service performance into clear financial insight and practical recommendations.
The role
- Act as lead finance business partner to Hub Operations, providing insight, challenge and support to senior operational leaders
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, and deliver clear, timely performance reporting
- Drive cost control, operational efficiency and productivity improvement across the hub network
- Support the development, appraisal and governance of investment cases and transformation programmes, and track delivery of approved benefits
- Provide financial leadership on third-party handling arrangements, supplier negotiations and sourcing decisions
- Ensure strong financial control and governance, including accruals and balance sheet management
- Develop meaningful operational and financial KPIs, and identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate reporting
- Lead, coach and develop the Hub Operations finance team
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong background in management accounting, financial planning and business partnering
- Track record of partnering with operational or organisationally complex business areas, and connecting operational drivers to financial performance
- Line management or coaching experience
