My client, a Housing Association, based in the jewel of the East of England, in Cambridgeshire, is in need of an experienced Repairs Surveyor for an initial 6 month contract.

About the Role

My client is looking for a Repairs Surveyor on a temporary basis for an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend beyond this, as they look to cover a vacant post in their team combined with an increased workload. The contract will see you cover :

  • Responsive repairs
  • Damp and mould
  • Schedule of rates
  • Voids
  • Planned works

The contract will require a mixture of on site inspections and written reports, which can be done from home. You should expect around 2-3 days on site a week and the rest can be done remotely. The contract will be paying circa. £30-£35 an hour depending on experience.

About You :

The successful candidate will have experience having dealt with Social Housing during your career at either a Local Authority or Housing Association. They are looking for someone to start within the next couple of weeks.
