Job Description
G MASS Consulting are supporting a leading financial services firm as they build out a new payments function and acquire a payments license. Our client require a dedicated PMO on board to support delivery.
This is a great opportunity to join at the early stages of a major build-out, working closely with senior stakeholders to help structure, track and drive progress across a complex, fast-moving programme.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support across the payments programme, ensuring workstreams stay on track.
- Maintain programme plans, milestones, RAID logs and governance documentation.
- Coordinate activity between technology, operations, compliance and other business teams.
- Track progress against regulatory and operational deliverables.
- Identify delivery risks and escalate issues as needed.
- Support senior stakeholders with clear reporting and structured programme oversight.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in PMO, project coordination or junior project management roles.
- Experience within the payments industry is essential – ideally including cross-border payments or payment processing.
- Knowledge of payments regulations (e.g. PSD2, FCA, EMI licensing) is a strong advantage.
- Highly organised, proactive and ambitious, with a delivery-focused mindset.
- Confident working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Benefits
Paying in the region of £40,000 – £50,000 per annum. Initial 6-month contract with the expecation to be extended or to be made permanent.
