We are partnered with a prestigious global university to recruit for a Network Platforms Manager to join their IT directorate. This role will be leading and developing the Network team, maximising the network platforms value while ensuring service quality. This will be an 18-month fixed term contract, with potential for extension.
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Duration: 18-month fixed term, potential to extend
Location: Central London (minimum on-site requirement twice per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the Network Platforms team
- Lead stakeholder engagement and identify user needs
- Define and prioritise work in the team backlog
- Set the platforms roadmap direction
About You:
- Experience developing and managing a high performing network team
- Good knowledge across networking technologies including, but not limited to, LAN, WAN, Data Centre, Security and Wireless
- Understanding of cloud networking technologies
- Proven ability to effectively manage workload by prioritising, delegating, and negotiating with colleagues at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders
