Overview
In this Tax Senior Manager role you will oversee tax reporting, compliance, transfer pricing and VAT for a fast‑growing international energy business. You will partner with the Head of Tax and the wider finance team to ensure accurate disclosures, regulatory compliance, and robust TP and VAT management across the group. The role involves leading UK tax compliance end‑to‑end and guiding intercompany pricing strategy to mitigate risk. You will drive efficient tax processes while supporting ad hoc tax advisory needs and audits, enabling scalable finance growth.
Responsibilities
- Own tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions (provisions, disclosures, reports)
- Lead UK tax compliance end‑to‑end (corporate tax, VAT, CT61s, P11Ds, PSA) ensuring compliance
- Drive transfer pricing strategy and TP documentation with advisers
- Oversee VAT management, including returns, reporting, reconciliation and recovery
- Coordinate tax audits and inquiries to minimise exposure
- Provide ad hoc tax advice across the business
Key requirements
- 5–10 years of tax experience with emphasis on reporting, compliance, transfer pricing and VAT
- Solid UK tax compliance knowledge; international jurisdiction experience preferred
- Proficient in tax software and major accounting/ERP platforms; strong financial modelling ability
