We're working with a well-established, international investment group to recruit a UK tax specialist into a growing in-house tax team. This role offers broad exposure across UK corporation tax and group reporting, within a collaborative tax function that supports a diverse portfolio of UK and international investments. You'll take ownership of UK tax compliance while also playing a key role in upcoming finance and systems transformation initiatives, making this a great opportunity for someone who wants to combine technical work with process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

The Role

  • UK Tax Compliance
    • Lead UK corporation tax compliance, including preparation of returns, quarterly payments and group schedules
    • Manage a portfolio of UK tax compliance work, coordinating inputs from wider finance and tax stakeholders
    • Monitor international activity impacting UK tax (e.g. CFC considerations, transfer pricing and emerging regimes)
    • Lead Senior Accounting Officer obligations and tax risk reporting
    • Support internal controls testing in collaboration with audit and finance teams
  • Tax Reporting & Projects
    • Support year-end tax reporting and disclosures for group financial statements
    • Contribute to tax transparency and tax contribution reporting
    • Act as the tax lead on a significant finance transformation project, working closely with systems and finance teams to define requirements and controls
