A Real Estate business with properties across the UK and Europe is looking to hire a Senior Management Accountant into the team as they continue to grow. They are a good business to work for who look after their people well and are growing, which creates opportunities for development and progression.
The role will focus on managing the internal reporting and month-end for the entities within the Group portfolio and produce the management packs as well as partnering with business heads on things like cost analysis and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing revenue and operating costs across the portfolio, acting as the key finance contact for allocated cost categories
- Completing month-end accounting within tight deadlines, including full P&L and balance sheet reviews
- Preparing and distributing management information packs to Building Managers and Department Heads
- Delivering variance analysis and commentary against budget and historical performance
- Producing board packs and shareholder reporting
- Business partnering with department heads on budgeting and cost analysis
- Reviewing the work of AR/AP teams and monitoring debtor/creditor ledgers
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Preparing annual audit packs and liaising with external auditors
