Goodman Masson are partnering with a leading global private markets investment firm to recruit a Finance Analyst into their Investment Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain broad exposure across private equity, private credit and wider private markets strategies within a highly commercial finance function that partners closely with investment and investor-facing teams. The role offers strong exposure to investment valuations, portfolio analysis and senior stakeholder interaction within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

- Monitoring and reviewing investment valuations through detailed analysis of underlying manager reporting and portfolio company financial information;
- Preparing materials for internal valuation and performance review processes;
- Supporting investment monitoring activities including analysis of portfolio performance, fund exposure and underlying investment trends;
- Partnering with investment, fundraising and investor relations teams to support performance analysis, investor reporting and fundraising materials;
- Supporting quarterly reporting processes including performance packs and analysis for senior stakeholders;
- Working across finance, operations and investment teams to support governance processes and complex investment structures;
- Contributing to process improvements, automation initiatives and data enhancement projects in partnership with finance and technology teams;
- Supporting cross-functional projects across finance, operations and investment teams.
Recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) - 0 - 2 / 3 years PQE; Trained in practice (Audit, Transaction Services, M&A, Corporate Finance, etc.) and/or in industry (Fund Accounting, an Investment Banking graduate rotation, etc), within Private Equity, Private Credit, Investment Management, or wider Financial Services; Strong academic background (2:1 or equivalent preferred); Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data; Exposure to valuation methodologies, investment performance analysis or portfolio monitoring would be advantageous.
