My client is an expanding Industrials M&A platform within a global boutique investment bank in London. The platform is growing due to excellent fee income and a terrific pipeline.
UK and Europe remit, EV 100-500m and broad Industrials and Services coverage, Distribution, Industrial Tech and Infrastructure Services. They work on a high proportion of sell-side and ‘high probability success’ work.
Key duties- Key involvement in the origination and execution of M&A transactions across all subsectors
- Taking a lead role in the preparation of presentations for clients, investors and the broader investment community
- Playing an active role in the execution of mandates, taking increasing responsibilities on key workstreams and deliverables
- Commercially aware and able to act as client interface at senior level
- Excellent communication skills; mature, impactful and able to articulate complex issues
- M&A experience accrued within a large investment bank, recognised boutique or Big 4 Industrials lead advisory team
- Sector experience across Industrials is preferred
- Thorough financial analysis experience gained at an investment bank, accounting or strategy consultancy
- Extensive experience in preparing presentation materials and advanced financial modelling skills
- Detailed knowledge of valuation techniques, due diligence, documentation, and in executing debt, equity and M&A transactions
