The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel (VP level) to join a high-performing Investment Services legal team on a 3-month fixed term contract. This is a key advisory role supporting a sophisticated financial services business across a broad range of complex legal matters. Based in Canary Wharf, this hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders on strategic and operational legal initiatives within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including financial services and outsourcing contracts
- Advising on regulatory and legal considerations impacting business activities
- Supporting strategic initiatives and new business opportunities
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across legal, risk and compliance
About You
- Minimum 8 years' PQE
- Trained at a recognised City law firm
- Strong commercial contracts and negotiation experience
- Background in financial services and/or outsourcing arrangements
- Confident advising senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
