We’re working with an established not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Procurement Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to bring the procurement function in-house, lead end-to-end procurement activity and take ownership of how procurement is delivered across the organisation, working across areas including repairs, planned works, asset management, professional services and IT.
- Lead end-to-end procurement and contracting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal governance.
- Provide expert procurement advice to stakeholders and promote best practice.
- Develop procurement documentation and support the publication of required notices via the Central Digital Platform.
- Manage procurement pipelines, timetables and forward plans.
- Identify and manage procurement and commercial risks.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and the contracts register.
- Work closely with contract managers, commissioning leads and suppliers.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end procurement processes.
- Experience developing and improving procurement processes and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and PCR 2015.
- Experience advising and challenging stakeholders on procurement, compliance and value for money.
- Experience within social housing, public sector or not-for-profit organisations would be advantageous.
Contract: Full-time, permanent. Hybrid, 1 day per week in the office. Annual leave: 27 days, increasing with service, plus public and bank holidays. This is a great opportunity to join an organisation with a strong social purpose and play a key role in developing its procurement function.
