I am currently partnering with a PE backed Infrastructure company who are looking for a Head of FP&A to come and join the Group Finance team. This is for a large-cap business who will be looking to go through an exit within the next 12 - 24 months. You will need to have experience from working in a large business and have worked within the Group FP&A team.
- Key requirements:
- Lead the end-to-end integrated planning process, ranging from short-term liquidity forecasting to long-term strategic projections.
- Take full accountability for advanced financial models, ensuring they are robust, automated, and capable of simulating complex capital investment scenarios.
- Prepare group-level projections to inform the Executive team on the strategic deployment of capital and long-term business viability.
- Act as the lead Finance Business Partner for high-stakes transactions, including refinancing's, divestments, joint ventures, and potential Group-level exits.
- Maintain high-accuracy transaction models and leverage a strong grasp of valuation principles to articulate the Group’s value evolution to third-party advisors and stakeholders.
- Oversee short-term group cash flow forecasting, driving accuracy across various sites to ensure liquidity requirements are met.
- Collaborate with Regional Heads of FP&A and Group leadership to translate trading performance and sales pipelines into actionable "forward-look" plans.
- Prepare high-standard board materials and "ad-hoc" analysis for the C-suite to support data-driven decision-making.
- Drive the digital roadmap by leading finance systems projects (ERP, Cloud planning tools) and automating KPIs to professionalize Management Information.
Experience:
- ACA qualified and trained from a top 4 practice.
- Have worked in large businesses ideally £500m plus to be considered.
- Have previously led and developed a high performing team.
- Worked closely with the senior leadership team, including exposure working closely with PE firms.
- Advanced user of cloud based planning and reporting solutions. You will have hands on experience of the implementation and/or upgrades.
- You will need to be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- For this role you will be comfortable travelling to central London and have managed teams previously.
