A well-established media and entertainment business is looking to appoint a Group Tax Manager into a broad, hands-on role covering the full spectrum of tax. This is a good opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys variety and wants to take ownership of both compliance and advisory work within a commercially driven environment. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will manage the group's tax affairs across direct tax, indirect tax, and employment tax. You will work closely with external advisers and internal stakeholders, contributing to tax planning, compliance, and reporting across the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of the group's corporation tax compliance and reporting obligations
  • Oversight of VAT and indirect tax processes, ensuring compliance across the business
  • Supporting tax planning and advisory projects, working with external advisers as required
  • Preparing and reviewing tax disclosures for statutory accounts
  • Liaising with HMRC on enquiries and correspondence
  • Providing tax support and guidance to the wider finance team and business stakeholders
Qualifications
  • CTA/ ACA/ ACCA or equivalent
  • Experience across direct, indirect and/or employment tax - breadth valued over depth in one area
  • Background in practice, industry, or a combination of both considered
  • Hybrid working - 3 days per week in the London office, 2 days from home
