A well known listed multi-site business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its finance function. With 3 direct reports and reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will manage the teams that are responsible for:
- Statutory Reporting
- Treasury including retail accounting
- Accounts Payable
- Credit Control
In addition, the role will be responsible for maintaining the financial controls environment of the business, including:
- The production of the Groupβs Annual Report and Interim Statement β working closely with other departments as well as the external auditors
- Treasury management including debt reporting to the Board, short-term cash forecasting, debt and cash management and reporting on covenants to the banks
- The assessment and monitoring of financial controls throughout the business
- Working with the Head of Risk to help develop and execute a plan to document all our processes and controls and develop an audit plan
- Manage and implement accounting process improvements including rebate automation
- Team management and development of the accounts payable, credit control and treasury team
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including external lenders and external auditors
