About the Business: We are partnering with a high‑growth, internationally recognised technology and global services vendor. Operating across a multi‑million‑pound international footprint with over 20 proprietary hubs worldwide, this business delivers cutting‑edge localisation and digital infrastructure solutions to enterprise clients globally. Due to a major cloud infrastructure upgrade, they are seeking a high‑calibre systems leader to spearhead their global enterprise resource application.

The Opportunity: Stepping in immediately post‑launch, you will take full strategic and operational ownership of our global ERP ecosystem, centring primarily on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role sits at the intersection of Finance, IT, and International Operations. We are looking for a proactive technical specialist who can drive a multi‑year global rollout, moving legacy international subsidiaries away from disparate workflows into a single, automated core ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ERP Ownership: Take the reins of a newly launched Business Central framework, steering system configuration, data workflows, user architecture, and control matrices.
  • Global Rollout: Deliver a 2‑year international implementation strategy to deploy the platform globally, optimising standard financial architectures across all geographic operations.
  • Data Integration: Oversee the data health and clean API syncs between Business Central and non‑financial operational platforms (including core CRM and proprietary Project Management tools).
  • Business Intelligence & Compliance: Engineer advanced operational reporting suites, analytical models, and live management dashboards utilising Power BI.
  • Global Compliance: Automate financial reporting workstreams with a specific focus on cross‑border tax requirements, automated VAT filings, and regional e‑invoicing laws.
  • Leadership & Support: Act as the internal technical subject matter expert for global users, delivering training frameworks and managing a dedicated Finance Systems Accountant.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Systems Expertise: Clear, hands‑on experience managing, deploying, or driving early‑stage rollouts of Microsoft Business Central (D365) within a multi‑entity group structure.
  • Accounting Literacy: A firm grasp of foundational accounting rules, group consolidation workflows, and trial balance structures.
  • Advanced Analytics: Proven capability in building complex, automated reporting architectures via Power BI.
  • Cross‑Border Capability: Comfort working within an international, multi‑currency footprint, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Mindset: An analytical thinker with an elite attention to detail who thrives on dismantling manual processes and replacing them with lean automation.
