A global professional services organisation is seeking a Finance Control & Analytics Specialist to join its regional finance function, supporting multiple European locations. This role combines financial controls, compliance monitoring, analytics, and selected finance operations oversight. It is suited to a finance professional who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and strengthening financial governance and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enhance travel and expense compliance and control frameworks
- Analyse spend patterns and cost trends, identifying risks and opportunities
- Review policy adherence and control effectiveness across finance processes
- Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and management insights
- Support governance and control improvement initiatives
- Assist with selected finance operations activities, including corporate card administration and payment validation
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in finance operations, financial controls, compliance, FP&A, or analytical finance roles where you have demonstrated a strong understanding of expense management and financial governance
- Advanced Excel skills (essential)
- Experience with data visualisation or analytics tools (BI preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills
