A leading global investment bank is seeking a VP as they expand their UK and European FIG M&A platform. They are targeting someone with detailed M&A execution experience and deep experience in FIG (particularly in Capital Light verticals).
Key responsibilities centre on:
- Execution of on-going deals within the group, e.g. M&A transactions, Financing, Capital Markets etc
- Supporting senior bankers delivering strategic advice to clients
- Strategic idea generation
- Preparation of pitch book and discussion materials
- Data analysis
- Modelling (operating models, capital models, merger models, LBO, etc.)
Requirements:
- A proven background in FIG Investment banking (with a credible investment bank or boutique, prominent corporate or Big M&A team) along with relevant transactional experience
- FIG experience is required
- Excellent financial modelling experience (operating models, merger models, LBO, etc)
- Experience in buy-side and sell-side M&A
- Strong communications skills: ability to interact confidently with banking professionals and clients
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Team player, willing and able to work with, coach and develop juniors
