I’m currently supporting my client with the appointment of a Damp & Mould Lead. This is a senior operational role leading the organisation-wide response to condensation, damp and mould cases. You’d have accountability for triage, investigation and resolution of cases in line with Awaab’s Law, while using data and insight to identify trends, target high-risk homes and prevent recurrence.
The role includes:
- Leading and developing a specialist CDM team
- Acting as the organisational subject matter expert for damp and mould
- Oversight of contractor performance and statutory compliance
- Driving service improvement and high-risk remediation projects
- Working closely with Repairs, Housing, Asset Management and H&S teams
Package:
- Salary: £65,000 – £75,000
- 35-hour working week

Ideal candidates will come from a housing repairs, maintenance or asset management background, ideally with a surveying or construction qualification and a strong understanding of damp, mould and regulatory compliance.
