I am currently partnering with a high growth VC backed scale-up fintech. This is a newly created role to come in and support the Head of Finance. For this role you will take ownership of the full finance function while leading a small and growing team to support the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Actively manage, build and develop effective finance processes and procedures to support the business.
- Communicate key finance requirements, issues and observations to the wider team.
- Oversee VAT, PAYE, Corporation tax and the preparation of the Statutory Accounts in the UK and across the globe.
- Manage the external accounting teams, overseeing crypto accounting, accruals, and all general ledger entries.
- Coaching and development of junior staff.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3-5 years in financial management.
- Prior experience working with Xero would be beneficial.
You will want to play a key role in building a high performing team as the company continues to grow.
