Goodman Masson are currently partnered with a highly prominent MGA as they recruit a new Actuarial Manager off the back of a period of consistent growth. This is a highly visible role which will see the Actuarial Manager working on projects within Pricing and Reserving for a wide range of Specialty products, with the potential to grow a team over time.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Building new Pricing models using tools such as HX
- Conducting monthly, quarterly and annual reserve reviews
- Upskilling and training junior team members
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant Underwriting teams
- Presenting to senior stakeholders, up to CFO / Chief Actuary level
This opportunity will be well-suited to a newly-qualified Actuary with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained in the Specialty space. However proactive, adaptable candidates from a Personal Lines background are also encouraged to apply.
