A leading international financial services group is looking to appoint a Senior Tax Accountant to join its established European tax function. This is a high-profile role within a well-regarded organisation operating across multiple jurisdictions. The Role
- Reporting into the Tax Compliance Lead, you will play a key role in managing corporate tax accounting and reporting activities across UK and European entities.
- Managing UK corporation tax compliance and quarterly reporting.
- Advising internal stakeholders on tax implications of commercial decisions.
- Liaising with tax authorities and external advisors on audits and enquiries.
- Monitoring legislative developments and assessing business impact.
- Driving improvements in tax processes, controls and systems.
- Supporting ad hoc projects across indirect and employment tax where required.
- Mentoring junior team members within the function.

About You
- We are keen to speak with candidates who have: ATT and/or CTA qualification.
- Strong UK corporate tax experience (either Big 4 / Top 10 or in-house).
- Experience in tax accounting and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
- Exposure to international tax matters (advantageous).
- Experience with tax/reporting systems such as Alphatax, Hyperion or similar (beneficial).
You will be detail-oriented, commercially aware, and comfortable partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
