Land Manager

We\’re looking for a Land Manager to join a Housing Providerin the Hampshire region.

You will be responsible for identifying and appraising new development opportunities, negotiating land and S106 contracts, and moving projects from the initial stages through to procurement to be ready for on site construction.

What you\’ll do:

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure new land and development opportunities to build a strong forward development program.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with local authorities, private developers, and key professional consultants.
  • Conduct detailed financial and risk appraisals, presenting your findings to senior leadership to gain approval for new schemes.
  • Manage the professional consultation process and guide projects through the planning and procurement stages.

What we\’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a land, development, or planning role within the social housing or private sector.
  • A track record of successfully negotiating and completing contracts.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with scheme viability assessments and due diligence.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • A confident, outgoing, and organized individual who can work on their own initiative.
