Salary: £45k – £55k depending on experience About the Role We are working with a growing international business that is looking to appoint a Part-Qualified Accountant to join its London finance team.
This is a broad role within a small and collaborative finance function, offering the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes while gaining exposure across month-end, reporting, treasury and finance systems.
You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and wider business, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing accounting experience and take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day purchase-to-pay and accounts payable process.
Work with internal stakeholders to ensure invoices are correctly coded, approved and processed.
Review payment runs and maintain appropriate financial controls.
Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances or outstanding items.
Support the preparation of management accounts and regular financial reporting.
Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
Support audit preparation and provide financial information as required.
Maintain accurate accounting records across the business.
Assist with the implementation and improvement of finance systems and processes.
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate existing processes.
Provide wider support to the Finance Manager across day-to-day finance activities and projects.
About You We’re looking for someone who is actively studying towards ACCA, CIMA or AAT, with some solid experience in a finance or accounting environment.
Ideally, you’ll have: Experience across core accounting processes Good knowledge of double-entry accounting Previous exposure to AP / purchase-to-pay Strong Excel skills Good attention to detail A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership Good communication skills and the ability to work in a small team The Opportunity This role offers genuine breadth across the finance function, rather than being focused solely on one area of accounting.
