Interim Head of Group FP&A | 3 months initially | Sport related | £600 per day | London - hybrid
The role requires candidates who can start in May.
This is an an exciting opportunity to join a well known sporting group as their Interim Head of FP&A on day rate contract. This role would suit a qualified accountant with at least 5 years experience in a senior FP&A role in a multi entity environment.
You will be responsible for group budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. You’ll play a key role in delivering clear, timely financial insights, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring strong financial governance.
You’ll collaborate regularly with senior stakeholders, including executive leadership, and contribute to strategic planning and ongoing financial performance.
- Provide clear direction across reporting and planning cycles
- Develop financial models to support investment decisions and understand the ROI
- Own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Support long-term planning and strategic target setting
- Prepare Business cases for opex and capex
- Oversee cashflow forecasting and working capital insights
- Produce insightful performance analysis
- Provide visibility and analysis of central costs
- Deliver actionable insights to support operational decision-making
- Partner with senior leadership to communicate financial performance
