Overview
A high-growth private equity backed business is looking for an Interim Financial Controller. Start date: October (ideally before 20th). Contract length: 5 months with the possibility of extension. Location: Central London (hybrid working).
The role: You will work closely with the CFO overseeing day-to-day finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance operations team overseeing AP & AR
- Support with annual budgets & forecasts
- Lead the year-end and audit process
- Drive cash flow and liquidity management
- Partner with senior leadership on financial strategy and decision-making
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA or equivalent) with circa 2–10 years’ PQE
- Must have recent experience managing a finance operations team (AP/AR)
- Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable in a small, fast-paced finance team
