Goodman Masson are currently working with a social housing organisation in Norfolk to recruit for an interim Home Ownership Manager.

Pay: £250 - £315 a day INSIDE IR35

The Opportunity

In this pivotal role, you will lead the Home Ownership function, ensuring the delivery of a compliant, efficient, and customer-focused service. You will oversee a wide range of homeownership activities while driving continuous improvement and ensuring customers receive a seamless experience at every stage. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine leadership, technical expertise, and customer focus in a role where you can truly make an impact.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Managing shared ownership and shared equity transactions, including resales, assignments, and staircasing
  • Overseeing Right to Buy and Right to Acquire applications
  • Leading on remortgaging, redemptions, and sales progression
  • Supporting asset disposals, land transactions, and commercial property sales
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for homeowners and leaseholders
  • Driving excellent customer service across all touchpoints
  • Maintaining oversight of conveyancing processes and ensuring audit compliance
  • Collaborating with brokers, lenders, and legal professionals
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, maximise value, and enhance service delivery

About You

We are looking for someone who brings both expertise and leadership capability. You will ideally have:

  • Strong experience managing within a Home Ownership or similar environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end sales process and relevant legislation (including RTB/RTA)
  • Experience working in a regulated sector
  • A proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working alongside brokers, lenders, and solicitors
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality services
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence in decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving
