We are looking for an outstanding leader to take on the role of Head of Service – Surveying. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact, shaping the future of surveying services and providing strategic leadership during a period of change and growth.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will:
- Provide clear strategic direction for the surveying function, embedding consistent standards and practices.
- Lead and motivate senior surveyors and their teams across multiple locations, building a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Develop and implement robust frameworks, processes, and competency models to support professional excellence.
- Oversee the delivery of surveying projects via an established supply chain, ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money.
- Nurture talent and create structured career pathways to support ongoing development.
- Collaborate with colleagues across asset management, compliance, and repairs to deliver an integrated, customer-focused service.
About You
We are seeking someone who is:
- A qualified and experienced Building Surveyor, with proven senior leadership experience.
- Skilled at managing and inspiring multi-site teams, with a record of achieving high standards.
- Experienced in creating and embedding frameworks, processes, and standards.
- An excellent communicator and influencer, comfortable engaging at every level.
