This is an exciting opportunity to join an international FMCG group as their Head of Commercial Finance for their food division, on a 12 month contract. This position would suit a qualified accountant with experience in a senior FP&A/Commercial finance role. Previous experience in FMCG, food, beverage or CPG is essential.

You will be responsible for commercial performance, group budgeting and forecasting as well as leading the delivery of financial insights, supporting executive decision‑making.

Main focus of the role:
  • Lead the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting cycle across international business units, ensuring accurate consolidation and meaningful performance insight.
  • Provide analysis and challenge to regional teams, identifying commercial risks, growth opportunities, and key business actions.
  • Lead strategic projects for the food division.
  • Support operational teams with financial analysis and decision making across supply chain activities.
  • Prepare high‑quality reporting packs and presentations for senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Partner with commercial teams to support pricing strategy, portfolio management, and profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute financial insight to strategic planning cycles, including long‑range business plans.
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives and promote efficiency through financial insight.
