13-14 months – (Apply online only)/day umbrella – Real Estate Investor/Developer
I have partnered with an ambitious and growing commercial Real Estate Investor & Developer who are looking for a capable finance professional to join their team on a temporary basis. This role will see you have broad scope and opportunity to get involved in various different areas of the business. Sitting in a team of 5 and reporting directly to the FD, you will be very hands-on and able to make this role your own.
While they are needing someone with strong core accounting/controllership knowledge – there is also the exciting opportunity to get involved in the more commercial elements of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Core accounting: reviewing outsourced bookkeepers, quarterly operational & financial reporting, leading statutory accounts process and managing audit for various SPVs
- Commercial elements: budgeting, forecasting, business planning, liaising with investors
- Ad-hoc work: setting up new SPVs, assisting with debt-raising, financial due-diligence
Your background:
- Audit-trained – 3+ years post qualified
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (statutory accounting, liaising with auditors, quarterly reporting, etc)
- Strong attention to detail & analytical mind
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
