We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, highly acquisitive, US-listed Marketing & Advertising organisation to appoint a Finance Director – Reporting. This role sits at the core of the finance function and plays a critical part in ensuring robust financial control, high-quality reporting, and strong governance across a complex, multi-entity environment.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will own the end-to-end financial reporting process while working closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure accurate, timely, and decision-useful information for stakeholders at all levels.
The role
You’ll be responsible for leading financial reporting across the group, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance, while supporting the business through ongoing acquisition and integration activity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reporting, including consolidation across multiple entities
- Managing AP, AR, and WIP control to ensure strong cash flow, billing discipline, and balance sheet integrity
- Overseeing revenue recognition and reporting in a project-based / agency environment
- Supporting acquisitions from a reporting and integration perspective
- Building and improving reporting processes, controls, and systems as the business scales
- Producing high-quality reporting for senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Leading, developing, and mentoring a finance team
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong background in financial reporting within complex, multi-entity or acquisitive businesses
- Experience within an agency or professional services environment is strongly preferred
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving organisations
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
- Confident stakeholder manager with clear, concise communication skills
