Finance Assistant - London - Global Luxury Business - £34,000-£38,000
I'm recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join the growing EMEA Finance team of an international luxury business. The team looks after the accounting, reporting and financial processing for multiple legal entities across Europe and the Middle East.
The role
You'll support day-to-day finance operations across several jurisdictions, currencies and VAT regimes, with exposure to multi-entity accounting, VAT compliance, foreign currency transactions and month-end reporting.
Day to day, you will:
- Process supplier invoices, prepare payment runs and reconcile supplier statements
- Handle expenses and corporate card reconciliations
- Log receipts, prepare settlement summaries and support credit control
- Carry out bank reconciliations and produce aged creditor and debtor reports
- Support month-end close and statutory audit queries
About you
- 2+ years' experience in a multi-entity international finance environment
- Experience processing high-volume, multi-currency invoices with a sound understanding of VAT, including reverse charge and cross-border transactions
- Strong AP knowledge and excellent reconciliation skills
- Advanced Excel and experience with accounting software
- Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to deadlines
- Desirable: Dynamics 365 Great Plains, SAP Concur, part-qualified AAT/ACCA/CIMA, audit support experience, or a European language
