Finance and Accounting Manager | Munich, Germany | Aerospace and Defence industry | Salary €85,000 - €100,000 + equity and benefits
I am currently partnering with a high-growth company which is expanding it's finance team in Munich to support the growth of the business.
For this role you will be reporting to the number 1 in finance and help build a high-performing finance team working across multiple entities and divisions.
For this role you will be building out the processes and procedures to set up the company for future growth and build a best in class function.
This is a super exciting role within a company which is on track to become a unicorn within the next couple of years.
Your responsibilities;
Prepare and oversee statutory accounts for the German entity and support the audit.
Design processes to ensure compliance with relevant German pricing and regulatory requirements, and support hands-on bookkeeping where needed.
Build the controlling function from scratch: cost-centre and cost-carrier accounting, set up in SAP CO.
Oversee tax compliance for the German entity, coordinating with external advisors.
Drive process automation and continuous improvement within the ERP environment.
Work directly with senior stakeholders to create transparency and build out the finance process landscape.
You will need the following;
5+ years in a accounting or financial controller role, ideally across multiple legal entities.
A degree in business administration, economics or a related field and an equivalent qualification (e. g.
Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerberater, ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
Hands-on SAP experience.
Solid HGB knowledge; IFRS familiarity required, UK GAAP a plus.
German speaker with working proficiency in English.
