Base pay range
A Qualified ACA recruiting Finance professionals in Investment Management (Public and Private markets) and Trading firms.
Start date: Permanent - must be available to start a new role in January.
Hybrid working: 2/3 days a week in the office.
An Investment Management firm with around £2bn Assets under Management invested across Real Assets strategies are looking to bring in an experienced Financial Controller. This is an urgent hire and they need someone who is available to start immediately or is on short notice as they would like a substantial handover with the individual departing. Must be able to start a new role in January.
This is a broad role as you will oversee everything from the Corporate Accounting side and dual report into one of the Partners (Finance Director) and the CEO. You will have one junior report too who is an Accounts Assistant, but you will have to be hands on as well as strategic in this role.
They want an experienced individual so the right person will have 10 years plus post qualified experience and they are very open to a more seasoned finance professional who is happy operating at this level.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Monthly Management Accounts and Quarterly Reporting
- Data reporting and Analysis
- Manage the audit
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Regulatory Reporting (including ICARA)
- VAT, Tax and Payroll
- Oversight of Operational Finance
The preference is to bring someone in who has experience within Financial Services sector, but the main requirements are for someone who can work independently, run finance and present to the CEO and Management Committee.
