A leading life insurer is looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their Advanced Analytics & Insights team. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analytics projects leveraging proprietary datasets to generate actionable insights for underwriting, pricing, and risk management.
- Develop, validate, and refine predictive models, turning complex results into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
- Investigate new data sources and analytical methods to enhance decision-making across Protection and Longevity.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to apply analytical outputs effectively in business processes.
- Use Python, R, SQL, or similar tools to perform rigorous, reproducible analysis and maintain high-quality data standards.
Your Experience & Skills
- Part-qualified actuarial student, progressing toward FIA or equivalent.
- 2-5 years' experience in actuarial, analytics, or related roles, ideally in pricing, underwriting, or research-focused environments.
- Proficient in statistical modelling, predictive analytics, and data science tools; familiarity with insurance risk frameworks is advantageous.
- Strong communicator, able to explain complex analytical ideas to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable as a specialist contributor in a collaborative team environment.
