About the Role
Hybrid corporate finance and treasury leadership role supporting funding, liquidity, investment appraisal and capital allocation decisions.
Responsibilities
- REPORTING: Reporting to the Group Finance Director, with a dotted line into the Treasury Director for Treasury related matters.
- TREASURY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supporting the Treasury Director on cash forecasting, liquidity planning, covenant forecasting, debt reporting, facility utilisation analysis and treasury risk management.
- DEBT MANAGEMENT: Support revolving credit facilities, project finance, development debt, infrastructure financing and refinancing activity.
- BANKING RELATIONSHIPS: Manage interactions with lenders, banks, debt funds, infrastructure investors and advisers.
- FINANCIAL MODELLING: Develop complex funding, refinancing, acquisition, development and cash flow models.
- INVESTMENT APPRAISAL: Evaluate land purchases, development projects, JV opportunities and infrastructure investments using DCF, NPV, IRR and sensitivity analysis.
- BOARD & INVESTOR REPORTING: Prepare lender packs, financing papers, investment recommendations and board presentations.
Qualifications
Ideally min. 7 years post qualified experience and demonstrate experience in the above areas, as well as have strong communication and project management skills. ACA, ACCA, CFA or ACT qualified with infrastructure, property, real estate or asset-heavy technology finance experience. Big 4 preferred, transaction services, corporate finance or experience in investment banking would be preferable.
