Compliance MI Analyst – Banking – 6-Month Contract (Inside IR35)

Location: City of London (Hybrid)

Contract Type: 6-Month Day Rate Contract (Inside IR35)

Day Rate: £221.65 per day via umbrella

A leading global financial institution is seeking a Compliance Management Information Analyst to join its Compliance Planning & Oversight team on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on producing key management information (MI) reports, supporting governance processes, and ensuring senior management has accurate data for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the production of MI reports for senior management and key committees, including the Executive Committee, Audit Committee, and Board Risk Committee.
  • Liaise with compliance teams to consolidate key escalations and insights into MI reports.
  • Enhance governance and improve efficiency in MI reporting processes.
  • Monitor and track self-identified issues escalated by compliance teams, ensuring alignment with internal governance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and their remediation status, providing updates to senior management and risk teams.
  • Oversee internal breach management, tracking reported breaches and escalating key information.
  • Organise and manage monthly meetings with senior management, ensuring key actions are recorded and followed up.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong documentation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and build effective relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret, and summarise data for reporting purposes.

Preferred:

  • 1+ year experience in a financial institution, ideally in governance, compliance, or internal controls.
  • Experience in data analysis and extracting meaningful insights from MI reports.

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, motivated approach with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
  • A structured and logical approach to tasks, with sound judgement.
  • Awareness of regulatory and governance frameworks in financial services.
