Commercial Finance Manager (Supply Chain) | Global FMCG | Central London | £70,000 to £80,000
Goodman Masson are exclusively partnering with a major multinational FMCG business on a Commercial Finance Manager (Supply Chain) opportunity within their global manufacturing and operations finance function. Central London based, 3 days a week in.
This is a broad, commercially focused role sitting at the heart of a complex international supply chain. You'll work closely with finance and operational teams across multiple markets, providing insight into performance while also getting involved in strategic projects that influence how the business operates.
You'll take ownership of how performance across manufacturing and logistics gets reported, pulling the numbers together, sense-checking them with teams on the ground, and turning them into insight senior stakeholders can act on. Alongside that, you'll get involved in a broad mix of strategic finance work, from manufacturing footprint decisions through to systems and process improvement.
The Role:
- Own the monthly and quarterly reporting of manufacturing and supply chain performance across multiple markets
- Run a regular cadence of performance reviews with regional teams and keep resulting actions on track
- Lead regular performance reviews and ensure agreed actions are followed through
- Develop and maintain reporting around cost, efficiency and operational improvement initiatives
- Support planning, budgeting and forecasting activity across the wider supply chain function
- Partner with technology teams to improve reporting systems and analytics capability
- Support strategic analysis around manufacturing footprint and sourcing decisions
- Business partner senior stakeholders across manufacturing, operations and supply chain, including senior leadership
- Support the evaluation of capital investment and other strategic business cases
- Carry out ad-hoc analysis, drawing on internal and external data, to surface opportunities the business hasn't yet spotted
- Work with finance and operational colleagues across different regions, acting as a key point of contact for the function
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
- Genuinely analytical and commercially minded, ideally with some exposure to a manufacturing or operational environment
- Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with large or complex datasets
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
