I’ve partnered with an exciting Financial Services start-up who are looking to bring on a Commercial Finance Lead on a contract basis, with view to go perm if it aligns on both sides. This is a hugely exciting time to join the business, with significant growth plans, they are needing someone with a highly strategic mindset to assist in improving the existing finance infrastructure and support further scaling of the business.
This would be suited to someone with a practice background, with a strong technical foundation, who has since moved into a commercial/strategic role ideally in a similar start-up environment. You don’t need to have led a finance function in this instance, but having had exposure to it will be valuable.
Role:- Partnering with senior leadership to provide a more granular view of the numbers and performance against budget
- Overseeing the day to day financial operations, as well as the audit/statutory reporting
- Budgeting/forecasting
- Assist with fundraising including overseeing financial due diligence work
- System improvements and process automations
- Strong breadth of experience across finance, with particular prowess for commercial/strategic finance
- Significant modelling experience
- Any experience with capital raising will be highly beneficial
This is an incredibly exciting role to join a business at a pivotal time, where your input will leave a lasting legacy on not only the back office, but the company’s journey forward.
