We are working with a well-established Hertfordshire based housing association to recruit a Business Planning Lead. The role is responsible for leading the long-term financial business plan and key regulatory returns, providing high-quality modelling, analysis and insight to support strategic decision-making, financial sustainability and compliance.
Key duties:
- Lead the development, maintenance and delivery of long-term financial business plans, forecasts and regulatory submissions.
- Deliver robust financial modelling, stress testing and scenario analysis to support strategic and investment decision-making.
- Monitor financial viability, liquidity and covenant compliance, providing clear insight, risk assessment and mitigation recommendations.
- Produce high-quality Board and committee reporting, including financial analysis, trends, assumptions and strategic commentary.
- Coordinate cross-functional input from finance, treasury and operational teams to ensure accurate, consistent and timely forecasting.
- Support cashflow management, treasury reporting and wider financial planning activities, including budgeting and reforecasting.
Essential requirements:
- CCAB qualified accountant
- Experience within the social housing sector
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining long-term business plans
- Experience using ABOVO and/or BRIXX business plan models
