Interim Building Safety Manager – London Area

6‑month initial contract | £500‑£600 per day | Hybrid working

We are recruiting an experienced Interim Building Safety Manager to support a London‑based housing provider in delivering its statutory and moral responsibilities for building safety across its residential portfolio.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Order, and associated regulations, with a particular focus on higher‑risk residential buildings. You will lead on the development and management of building safety cases, support engagement with the Building Safety Regulator, and help embed robust building safety governance and assurance frameworks.

The role requires close collaboration with asset management, compliance, housing operations, and resident engagement teams, as well as effective management of external consultants and contractors.   • Managing and maintaining building safety cases and golden thread information

About you

  • Significant experience in building safety, compliance, or risk management within social housing or a similarly regulated environment
  • Strong working knowledge of the Building Safety Act, fire safety, and health & ef!
  • Confident communicator able to influence and operate at all levels
