About the Role:

A leading housing provider in London is seeking an experienced Interim Building Safety Manager to support compliance and safety operations across its portfolio of Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs). The primary focus will be on conducting detailed building inspections to ensure alignment with the Building Safety Act and associated regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive safety inspections of HRBs across the housing portfolio.
  • Identify and assess building safety risks, with clear reporting and follow-up.
  • Support the development and implementation of Building Safety Case Reports.
  • Work closely with residents, contractors, and internal teams to ensure compliance and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide expert advice on building safety best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in building safety management within residential or social housing.
  • Driving License and access to own vehicle essential
  • In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act and HRB requirements.
  • Strong inspection and reporting skills.
