They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Accounts Payable Officer to support their finance function on a part-time basis.
The Role Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day payroll and accounts payable processes, ensuring employees and suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines Manage payroll starters, leavers and employee changes Ensure payroll complies with HMRC legislation, pensions and statutory requirements Liaise with the external payroll provider and resolve payroll-related queries Reconcile payroll journals and support month-end reporting Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data Accounts Payable Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approvals Prepare and process supplier payment runs Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies Process employee expense claims Maintain supplier accounts and onboard new suppliers Respond to supplier queries in a timely and...
