I'm working with a SME property firm on a Senior Accounts Assistant position, the role will have broad responsibilities within the accounts team covering the following:
- Supporting the management of customer and supplier ledgers
- Assist with the preparation and filing of Monthly/Bi-Monthly/Quarterly VAT returns
- Extracting, reconciling and posting monthly sales income
- Reconciling monthly receipts and checking monthly bank reconciliations
- Analysing and posting monthly expenditure
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly payroll and CIS submissions
- Ensuring inter-company balances agree, and raising inter-company invoices as necessary
- Check and review inventory reports
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly management accounts, to include calculating quarter end accounting adjustments
