Finance Controller/Manager | Central London | Media & Marketing | £70,000 – £80,000 + package | Hybrid Working

Goodman Masson is partnering with a dynamic, rapidly growing marketing & advertising business to appoint a hands-on Finance Manager/Controller.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible, broad finance role within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial company. The business partners with rapidly growing global brands and is investor backed, with ambitious growth plans already underway.

The Role:

Reporting to the MD and CEO and working closely with senior leadership, you’ll have full ownership of finance – from reporting and compliance through to driving process improvements and supporting commercial decision-making. You will look to take away processes from the external accountants and put in place best in class systems and process.

Key responsibilities:

• Full ownership of the finance operations
• Preparation of monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
• Leading year-end reporting and managing the audit process
• Cash flow forecasting and daily cash management
• Oversight of payroll, VAT returns and tax compliance
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders and founders
• Producing KPI and financial analysis to support strategic decisions
• Driving process, systems and control improvements
• Managing external providers for transactional finance

What We’re Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong knowledge of job costing, and project-based revenue models
• Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Commercially minded, with the confidence to challenge and partner with senior leadership
• Strong on cash flow, cost control, and process implementation
