This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative finance team where your work directly supports residents and frontline services. The role offers broad exposure across transactional finance, with a focus on accuracy, process, and supporting key housing income streams.
Key responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices and supporting payment runs
- Managing accounts payable and supplier reconciliations
- Processing rent receipts and reconciling tenant income
- Performing daily bank reconciliations and posting transactions
- Supporting month-end, balance sheet reconciliations, and audits
- Assisting with queries and improving finance processes
About you
- Experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, and reconciliations
- Good Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- High attention to detail and ability to manage workload
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Desirable
- Experience within social housing or a housing association
- Exposure to rent accounting or service charges
- Experience with housing or finance systems
