I am currently working with a large multi-national Technology company who is looking for a Group Technical Accounting Director to come and join a high performing team. For this role you will have exposure across the business from a very senior level and help train more junior members of the team.
This role has line management and you will be required to deal with some of the more complex accounting queries which arise.
Responsibilities:- You will need to understand changes within IFRS and how this will affect the business while putting together business cases to make changes.
- You will lead on technical accounting matters, understanding complex queries and report this back to the business.
- Provide training to any changes within accounting standards to the wider business and shared service centres when required.
- Review and provide detailed analysis on complex contracts working closely with Legal.
- Lead on acquisition accounting and support the M&A process from a technical standpoint.
- Business partner with the senior leaders to help them move the business forward.
For this role you will be ACA qualified and have a strong Technical Accounting background to be considered and have worked in large, multi-national companies. You will also have worked with various departments and provide training to large teams. This role is in London 3 days a week where you will be working in a high performing team, with occasional travel overseas a couple of times per year.
