We’re recruiting an Assistant Site Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of a busy operational site. This is a hands-on role involving staff supervision, site standards, and public-facing responsibilities. Weekend working is required on a rota basis.
Responsibilities
- Support the Site Supervisor with health & safety compliance and safe site operations
- Supervise staff and contractors, including rota and cover management when required
- Carry out daily site inspections, reporting, and incident logging using internal systems
- Oversee site operations, vehicle movements, and basic equipment checks
- Maintain high standards of site cleanliness and organisation
- Engage professionally with members of the public and clearly communicate site rules
Requirements
- Previous experience in a site-based or operational environment
- Confident dealing with the public and supervising teams
- Flexible to work across sites and weekends on a rota
- Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, internal systems)
- Willingness to undertake training (e.g. plant operation, First Aid)
- Driving licence desirable
