The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a fast paced, fun company on a 6 month contract. They ideally would like someone to start mid-May, but can wait a little longer for the right person. The role would suit a part qualified accountant (or qualified by experience) with at least 2 years working in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the production of Monthly P&L Accounts
- Assisting with Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Responsible for monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with maintenance of Target & Actuals schedule
- Daily maintenance of Placement Records
- Management of Weekly margin for Temps
- Assisting with yearly audit
- Assisting with the Month End close process
Requirements
- Practical knowledge/experience of statutory reporting and management accounts
- At least 2+ years of experience
- Prior experience in Bookkeeping
- Excellent communication skills with proven business partnering experience
- Good time management skills and ability to plan and prioritise workloads
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with solid commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Great experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in data analysis and problem solving
- Strong academic background, either AAT/ACCA qualified, or part qualified and studying towards a full accounting qualification
- IT literacy in MS Office, especially excel is essential
- Advance knowledge of Excel is desirable
